New to us 2nd quarter 2013

connections with wonderful global good fund- selects socially concerned and job creating youth leaders and develops customised coaching programs around them (socially concerned is defined round 5 ways of developing community health which is a curriculum Carrie Rich has developed)

to fully understand how global good fund works start studying its linkedin coaching networks eg Jonathan lewis at cafe impact http://cafeimpact.com/  and ionpoverty He started the Opportunity Collaboration which is a yearly anti-poverty UNconference on World Poverty Day in Ixtapa, Mexico.  This strategic business retreat and networking summit for 300 senior level anti-poverty leaders from around the world.  If you can ever make it, apply to be a Delegate and mention that you watch Café Impact.
He also launched MicroCredit Enterprises which leverages private capital to make tiny business loans to deeply impoverished people, mostly women, in developing countries.  A rarity in the non-profit world, MicroCredit Enterprises is self-sufficient without donations or grants.  Right now, MicroCredit Enterprises funds microloans in 30 nations on 5 continents with a loan portfolio of $40 million.
Shopkeeper Cereal & Grains3Some of his other social enterprise activities are Dev Equity (socialimpact investment fund focused on Latin America), Everyone Counts (social enterprise assuring safe and secure elections around the world) and Copia Global (consumer catalog serving the base of the economic pyramid; Jonathan with Copia senior team pictured in a Copia partner store, Nairobi, Kenya).
Jonathan is a Lecturer on social entrepreneurship at the Blum Center for Developing Economies, University of California
